The short, plain-language rules for using TipRunner.
Last Updated: October 23, 2026These Terms of Use cover the TipRunner app for Android and iPhone (the "App"), made by NMA Software ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you got the App from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.
We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the App on devices you own or control. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or misuse the App.
Never use the App in a way that takes your attention off the road. Enter deliveries, scan receipts and record tips while parked. Follow traffic laws and your employer's rules. You are responsible for how and where you use the App.
Everything a driver needs for the nightly job stays free. We may change which tools are in PRO or change prices in the future; price changes never apply to a period you've already paid for.
Your deliveries, customers, tips, shifts and mileage are stored on your phone, not on our servers. That means you are responsible for keeping backups (the App's Export and automatic backups help). We can't recover data lost when a phone is lost, reset, or the App is deleted.
The App stores customer names, phone numbers, addresses and notes that you enter or scan. Use that information only for making deliveries, keep it private, and follow your employer's rules. If you use "Share with coworkers," only share with drivers at the same store and only with your manager's OK.
Mileage, forecasts, pay checks, profit-after-gas and tax figures are estimates to help you plan. GPS can miss or add distance, and forecasts are based on your past shifts. The App is not tax, legal or financial advice — check important numbers (like tax deductions or a paycheck) against your own records or a professional.
The App can hand you off to navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze, Apple Maps), your phone dialer and text messages, and uses Google Maps and the U.S. National Weather Service for routes and weather. Those services have their own terms, and we aren't responsible for them or for their accuracy.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it reliable, but we don't promise it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that every number will be exact.
To the fullest extent the law allows, NMA Software isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost data, lost earnings, or tax penalties) from using the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for TipRunner PRO in the 12 months before the claim.
We may update these terms as the App changes; the date at the top will change, and big changes will be mentioned in the App. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it (cancel any PRO subscription in the store first). These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA.
