• Delivery Information: Customer names, addresses, phone numbers, and delivery notes you enter
• Tip Data: Tip amounts and notes recorded per delivery
• Shift Information: Work shift times, earnings, and mileage
• Store Settings: Your workplace name, address, and phone number
• Receipt Photos: Images captured using the receipt scanner feature

Automatically Collected Information

• Location Data: GPS coordinates for mileage tracking during active shifts — only when you enable location tracking
• Device Information: Device model, OS version, and app version — used only for support purposes

We use the information collected to:

• Provide core app functionality — tracking deliveries, tips, and routes
• Calculate mileage for tax reporting purposes
• Generate earnings reports and analytics
• Provide navigation assistance through integrated mapping services
• Process TipRunner PRO subscription payments
• Provide customer support

All your data is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, store, or have access to your delivery information, customer data, tips, or earnings on any external servers.

Your data remains private and under your control at all times. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.

TipRunner integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy.

Google Maps Platform PRO

• Purpose: Route optimization and estimated delivery times
• Data Shared: Delivery addresses for route calculation only
• Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy

Google Play Billing (Android)

• Purpose: Processing TipRunner PRO subscriptions on Android
• Data Handled: Payment information — managed entirely by Google, not accessible to us

Apple In-App Purchases (iOS)

• Purpose: Processing TipRunner PRO subscriptions on iOS
• Data Handled: Payment information — managed entirely by Apple, not accessible to us
• Privacy Policy: apple.com/legal/privacy

TipRunner requests camera permission solely for the receipt scanner feature. Photos are:

• Stored locally on your device only
• Used only for OCR (text recognition) within the app
• Never transmitted or uploaded to any servers Never
• Deletable at any time through your device's file manager or app settings

TipRunner requests location permission for:

• Mileage Tracking: Recording driving distance during active shifts for tax purposes
• Route Optimization (PRO): Calculating efficient delivery routes via Google Maps

How Location Tracking Works

• Tracking only begins when you manually start a shift
• Tracking stops automatically when you end your shift
• Not tracked in the background outside of active shifts Never
• Can be disabled at any time in your device settings

TipRunner requests phone permission to let you quickly call customers or your store directly from a delivery card. We do not:

• Make calls without your explicit tap action
• Access or read your call history
• Store phone numbers outside the app's local on-device database

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information:

• All data is stored locally using the platform's native encrypted database (Room on Android, SwiftData on iOS)
• No cloud synchronization or external data transmission, except Google Maps API calls for PRO route features
• Subscription status is managed securely through Google Play Billing or Apple In-App Purchases — we never touch payment details

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: All data is viewable and accessible within the app at any time
• Deletion: Clear all data via in-app settings, or uninstall the app to remove everything
• Export: Generate reports of your earnings and mileage directly from the app
• Opt-Out: Disable location, camera, or phone permissions at any time in your device settings

TipRunner is intended for delivery drivers and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will work to address it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Any changes will be reflected in an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

For significant changes, we'll do our best to provide in-app notice.

By downloading and using TipRunner, you consent to this Privacy Policy and our use of information as described herein. You may withdraw consent at any time by uninstalling the application and discontinuing use.
